WHAT IS TGS MUSCLE CARS?
We are a family owned business that has sourced, imported and serviced classic cars for over fifteen years. We take pride in our workshop, as well as our dedicated team of expert mechanics. Our passion for classic cars is only matched by our passion for providing high quality service to the community.
TONY "GEE": THE MAN behind the muscle
The owner of TGS Muscle Cars since its inception is Tony "Gee", a mechanic with close to forty years of mechanical experience across all kinds of cars.
He got his start with an apprenticeship in upmarket suburbs of Toorak, South Yarra, Malvern.
Early on in his career, he was exposed to European models; Mercedes, BMWs, Porsches and the very prestigious Bentley and Rolls Royce, to name a few.
Sixteen years later, he left his bosses, who are still considered family & a friendship that spans over 40 years.
Tony Gee then started his own successful workshop in Malvern.
With early success, came a relocation to Cheltenham, where he was one of the largest importers of Japanese vehicles.
Not only was he servicing them & selling them, he held compliance licenses and engineering them to Australian standards.
Then came his move to his current location, in Moorabbin, almost 20 years ago and his shift to his original passion of the Classic Cars.
He has had a hand in re-igniting the passion & growing community of classic car enthusiasts.
But, NO MAN IS AN ISLAND
Of course, Tony doesn't run this business on his own.
He is extremely priviledged to have a team that work tirelessly, to help him maintain his high quality service.
There is nobody he is more grateful to, than his wife of over 30 years, Kathy.
While she has always supported the business, she joined as a full time member in October 2016, where she brings 30+ years of experience in the corporate world. Having previously worked for companies that include American Express, STA Travel, Emirates Airlines, TOLL, Spotless Group, The Just Group and Mondelez (Cadbury).
In addition to Tony and Kathy, TGS Mucle Cars employs a team of extremely passionate mechanics, that love what they do.
No two cars, they work on, are ever the same, making it an exciting & highly rewarding team to work in.
They also have many years of experience and extremely diverse working backgrounds.
From basic services for classic and modern cars, to full builds and restorations.
